We have a terrific opportunity for a Citrix Administrator in beautiful Santa Fe, NM. First consideration will be given to candidates with proven, on the job, Citrix expertise. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES You will provide lead technical support for the shared storage systems, VMWare and Citrix ensuring stability and performance. You will also be the primary support of Microsoft OS, Server 2012 and all functions of Active Directory. Install, configure and monitor the company's shared storage, virtualization and physical server systems ensuring stability and optimized performance. Diagnose and take corrective action for system failures. Report failures/outages to IT management and review anomalies with IT Manager take corrective action. Assist with department projects and new system implementations as assigned. Create required system change checklist configuration documentation for the installation of new hardware and software projects that are assigned. Ensure data and physical security controls are adhered to. Ensure new hardware and software are promptly added to inventory system. Follow change management process for all production system modifications, including maintaining operating procedures and system change checklists documentation for storage systems, Citrix and VMware and ensure that required patches and software updates are installed in a timely manner. Primary backup to the Senior Server Administrator and in their absence, ensure company's data backup systems are properly maintained, managed and documented. Primary backup to Senior Network Administrator for support of phone system and voicemail troubleshooting and interaction with support vendor. At least five years' experience working with the following products: Citrix XenApp / XenDesktop Microsoft Active directory Server 2012 including strong group policy skills VMware vSphere / ESXI including vCenter This position requires a valid driver's license and vehicle to be used to travel to other locations and to transport small equipment (ie computers, printers, etc.) as needed. Mileage will be paid for the use of the personal vehicle if company vehicle is unavailable. This position requires after hours and weekend work to be performed. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience and formal training. Professional IT certifications are highly desired. PHYSICAL ABILITIES This position requires medium work with lifting and moving of up to 50 lbs. occasionally and up to 20 lbs. frequently. There is frequent walking; grasping and feeling of objects; pulling and pushing of materials, supplies and equipment; and stooping.
